CHALLENGES SOLVED

Enterprise Networking Challenges We Solve

From oversubscribed data center uplinks to Spanning Tree loops, our network architectures deliver deterministic throughput and operational stability.

East-West Traffic Bottlenecks

The Problem:Traditional 3-tier tree networks choking on server-to-server traffic as virtual machines and storage clusters saturate oversubscribed uplinks.
Our Network Solution:Transitioning to a non-blocking 2-tier Spine-Leaf architecture where every leaf switch connects to every spine switch with equal hops and line-rate forwarding.

Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) Inefficiencies

The Problem:Legacy STP blocking 50% of available network links to prevent loops, halving usable bandwidth and causing slow 30-second convergence during link drops.
Our Network Solution:Deploying multi-chassis link aggregation (MLAG/vPC) and Layer 3 ECMP routing, utilizing 100% of physical uplinks with sub-second hardware failover.

Security & VLAN Sprawl Across Sites

The Problem:Managing hundreds of static VLANs across multiple switches creates configuration errors, security blind spots, and broadcast domain bloat.
Our Network Solution:Implementing VXLAN with BGP EVPN control plane to virtualize Layer 2 overlays across scalable Layer 3 underlays with automated micro-segmentation.

Transceiver & Optical Interoperability Failures

The Problem:Mismatched optical transceivers, dirty fiber ends, and third-party vendor lockouts causing intermittent CRC errors and unexpected port flapping.
Our Network Solution:Supplying pre-tested, OEM-compatible transceivers and factory-terminated DAC cables validated against exact switch model firmware prior to delivery.

PROTOCOLS & STANDARDS

High-Availability Network Fabric Standards

We architect networks leveraging open standards, eliminating single points of failure and unlocking line-rate throughput across physical and overlay tiers.

Data Center Fabric

Spine-Leaf & ECMP

Equal-Cost Multi-Pathing (ECMP) distributes traffic evenly across all spine switches, providing predictable latency and massive non-blocking aggregate bandwidth.

Network Virtualization

VXLAN with BGP EVPN

Enables multi-tenant network virtualization by encapsulating Layer 2 Ethernet frames in Layer 3 UDP packets, allowing VMs to migrate freely across server racks.

Redundancy Architecture

Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation (MLAG / vPC)

Presents two physical switches as a single logical switch to servers, enabling dual-homed active-active bonded links without Spanning Tree port blocking.

Storage Fabric Protocols

Lossless RoCE v2 & PFC

Priority-based Flow Control (PFC) and Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN) provide lossless Ethernet transport for RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Enterprise Networking Sizing & Supply FAQ

Guidance on data center fabrics, optical cabling, and OEM hardware support.

Why is a Spine-Leaf network architecture superior to traditional core-distribution-access for data centers?

Traditional 3-tier architectures were designed for north-south client-server traffic. Modern virtualized data centers and storage clusters produce massive east-west (server-to-server) traffic. In a 2-tier Spine-Leaf architecture, every leaf switch connects directly to every spine switch, guaranteeing that any two servers in the data center are separated by exactly two hops with predictable, ultra-low latency and zero Spanning Tree blocked links.

What is the difference between DAC cables, AOC cables, and optical transceivers?

Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cables use twinax copper for short distance connections (up to 3–5 meters), offering the lowest cost and zero optical latency—ideal for in-rack server-to-switch patching. Active Optical Cables (AOC) have permanently attached optical transceivers at each end, allowing thin, flexible routing up to 30 meters. Optical transceivers (SFP+/QSFP28) plug into switch ports and accept standard LC or MPO fiber patch cords, supporting long-distance building and campus runs up to 10 kilometers.

Does Patel Galaxify Solutions supply genuine OEM switching hardware?

Yes. All enterprise switching and routing equipment supplied by Patel Galaxify Solutions is sourced exclusively through authorized national distributor channels (including Cisco Systems, Arista Networks, Juniper Networks, and Aruba by HPE). Equipment includes verified serial numbers, direct OEM software support entitlements, and formal GST tax invoices.

Can you configure VLANs, MLAG, and spine-leaf routing before dispatch?

Yes. Our staging services include pre-delivery unboxing, firmware flashing to verified golden code releases, hostname/management IP setup, VLAN creation, MLAG/vPC configuration, switch port testing, and physical port labeling to streamline on-site deployment.

What support and warranty options are provided for enterprise networking?

We provide official manufacturer support contracts (such as Cisco Smart Net Total Care, Arista A-Care, and Juniper Care) alongside Patel Galaxify Solutions Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) with dedicated replacement parts staging across our Bengaluru and Jaipur hubs.
